Apple Launches Updated AirPods Max Headphones in India with USB-C Connectivity
Apple has unveiled the latest iteration of its over-ear headphones, the AirPods Max, in the indian market, marking the first upgrade to the model in four years. The new AirPods Max are now available with USB-C connectivity and come in five fresh color options: Midnight, Blue, Purple, Orange, and Starlight. Additionally, these updated headphones will gain new features with the forthcoming iOS 18 update.
The AirPods Max were introduced alongside new iPhones and apple Watch models at Apple's “Glowtime” event on Monday. The headphones feature a stainless steel headband frame and a breathable knit mesh canopy, enhancing comfort and durability.
Priced at Rs 59,900, the AirPods Max can also be purchased through a No Cost EMI plan starting at Rs 9,317 per month with instant cashback. Pre-orders begin today, and the headphones will officially launch on september 20.
AirPods Max Specifications
The AirPods Max are equipped with a 40-mm Apple-designed dynamic driver and feature an H1 chip in each ear cup. While apple did not confirm any changes to the internal hardware, such as a potential upgrade to an H2 chip, the headphones include a suite of advanced features:
