Will Starlink come to India or not..!?
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of india (TRAI) has taken the final decision on the launch of Starling, the satellite high-speed internet service of SpaceX owned by Elon Musk, the world's richest man with a net worth of $300 billion, in India. Union minister Jyotir Aditya Scindia said while talking to the media on november 12. Speaking to reporters, Jyotir Aditya Scindia said that the Starlink service will be allowed to operate in india only depending on TRAI's recommendations. For this, the central government is awaiting the outcome of the consultation process currently being conducted by TRAI. This information was revealed when the minister was responding to a question on the status of Starlink's application to provide satellite internet services in India. Recently, a Starlink executive got into a heated argument with indian telcos at a public hearing held by TRAI. Elon Musk has accused indian telecom companies of spreading false information about Starling. This is the main reason why the TRAI organization has held a special consultative meeting after TRAI completes the consultative process and makes recommendations, Starling will be eligible to be allowed to apply. However, Union minister Jyothir Aditya Scindia has said that Starlink must meet all regulatory requirements and respond to security concerns raised by the home Ministry.
