BSNL is ready for 4G service, when will 5g service start?

government telecom company bsnl is ready to start its 4G service across the country. The company has set a target of installing one lakh 4G towers by June. Most of these towers have been installed and started working. It is expected that all the 4G sites of the company will become operational by the end of June. Immediately after this, work will be started for 5g connectivity. It can start from the national capital Delhi.

How much progress has been made on 4G so far?

Recently, Telecom minister Jyotiraditya Scindia had told that one lakh sites were planned for BSNL's 4G connectivity. Out of these, 89 thousand have been installed and the single cell function test process is going on. He said that there is a plan to make all one lakh sites operational by May-June. After this, work on 5g will start from June. According to reports, bsnl is the only company in the country that has developed 4G technology on its own. The rest of the companies took help from foreign companies for 4G connectivity.

BSNL's 5g service may start from Delhi

According to media reports, bsnl is planning to test 5g (standalone) in Delhi. Along with this, the company also has the option to upgrade its 4G sites to 5G. TCS, which is working with bsnl, has also confirmed that the company's 4G sites can be upgraded to 5g NSA (non-standalone) with the help of software updates. Let us tell you that bsnl is lagging behind in terms of starting 5g connectivity. airtel and jio have been providing 5g services for several months, while vodafone Idea has also started its 5g services in Mumbai. Soon this service will be started in parts of the country.
