Training AI models and tools requires more high-end computing resources. These resources are mainly GPUs (graphics processing units), which are capable of performing rapid calculations on large data sets. For example, GPUs are used to train generative AI models.However, GPUs are expensive and can be difficult for small startups to purchase. In view of this, the Common Compute Portal has been launched. Which provides the facility of sharing these GPUs. Through this, indian startups and researchers can create AI models and tools without investing much.

The result of this initiative was that 67 applications have been received, which proves that indian companies are now fully prepared to make their mark in the field of AI.
