In this, the company is looking for ways to make disappearing messages disappear faster than before. Disappearing messages were first introduced in 2020. After enabling it, the messages disappear within a week without deleting them. Now the company is preparing to bring a feature to make the messages disappear even faster.
Messages will disappear in one hour
Currently, a timer of 24 hours, one week and 90 days is available in disappearing messages. Now the company is looking to add a timer of one hour and 12 hours to it. Currently, this feature is being tested and has not yet been rolled out to the public. The one-hour timer becomes very important for those users who have to share sensitive information during chatting.
The feature came in 2020
WhatsApp first launched the Disappearing Message feature in november 2020. At that time it only had a timer of 7 days. Later, by bringing an update, a timer of 24 hours and 90 days has been added to it. Now once again the company is considering adding two new timers to it. After the arrival of these timers, users will get better control over their chat.
Now writing messages will be easy
WhatsApp is bringing a new AI tool for its users, which will help them in writing messages. This Meta AI powered tool has been named Writing Help. It can be enabled by tapping on the pencil icon appearing in the text box. After being enabled, it will give suggestions to the user based on the text written by him.
