Women continue to battle for equality, opportunities, and many basic rights on numerous fronts around the world. Today is international Girl Child Day, which falls on october 11th. In 2011, the United Nations passed a resolution to protect girls' rights, empower them, and recognise their accomplishments.


Every year on october 11th, international Girl Child Day is commemorated. Many of the #DayoftheGirl hashtags on social media sites honour women's achievements and rights in numerous professions. Although there are numerous barriers to women's advancement, sexual harassment is the most common form of violence against women. 


There is a necessity for conflict.

Further, In most regions, sexual abuse of minors does not occur. Our society has a significant percentage of those who believe it is an issue of honour. As a result, we must increasingly consider how we will deal with unrecorded sexual harassment. In India, we have not achieved significant progress in terms of women's empowerment and equal rights. Online teasing is the best illustration of this.

When a guy and a woman discuss the same topic, their perspectives on women are vastly different. Although social media provides a safe space for women to express themselves, it continues to taunt and abuse women who speak out on a public platform. When it comes to women's empowerment, we're just getting started. There is still some distance between us. In India, women do not have equal access to power. 

According to studies conducted by numerous renowned non-governmental groups, a woman is assaulted every 10 minutes in some part of the world for standing up to sexual harassment and fighting for equal rights. These demonstrations and fights will continue in the future. We shall continue to bang on the doors of those who oppose our rights going to be open.
