Army Academy's Proud stride in Gender Equality!
Army Commander-in-Chief delighted of the army Academy's first step toward gender equality! women should be admitted to the military academy, according to army Chief Mukund Narawane, as the first step toward gender equality in the military.
The National army Academy in Pune, Maharashtra, hosted an appreciation ceremony for the trainees today. Mukund Narawane, Commander-in-Chief, said:
I also attended the National Military Academy and completed my training there. I didn't anticipate I'd receive marching honours at the same academy as Commander-in-Chief of the army at the moment. If the military is only for men, it is rapidly dwindling.
At the army Academy, athletes will receive the same training as soldiers. This is not going to change. Anyone who has served in the military can attest to the pride that comes with it. We have the honour of serving the country and the people.
