While british Prime minister Boris Johnson was spotted labouring with an umbrella at a formal event visited by prince Charles on Wednesday, he provided a few chuckles. Johnson, who was sat next to prince Charles and a row forward of interior minister Priti patel during the dedication of a memorial for police officers killed in the line of duty, tried to repair his umbrella, that had flipped inside-out owing to the wind.
Everyone in his immediate vicinity was amused by the occurrence. Johnson was spotted chuckling at his own predicament when he eventually figured out how to fix it. A video was later shared on social media, resulting in further jokes and memes. Because it's not the first time this has occurred to Johnson, netizens were both perplexed and amused.
In the past, the british Prime minister has had an umbrella malfunction. He's also been chastised for getting soaked despite clutching an umbrella.
