House bids good-bye in Vellore flood! Viral Visuals

A house in the Palaru nagar area of Pasumathur village next to Gudiyatham in the Vellore district was swept away by floodwaters due to heavy rains.


The depression formed southeast of North tamil Nadu, becoming a deep depression and later a depression, approaching North tamil Nadu. Following this, a 'Red Alert' was issued for 6 districts including chennai and Tiruvallur.


As of yesterday evening, the epicentre was 100 km southeast of chennai and 120 km from Pondicherry. It was said to cross the data-border between pondicherry and chennai between 3 am and 6 am today.

In this situation, it started crossing the data-border between puducherry and chennai at 1.30 am today and as of 4 am it had completely crossed the data-border.


 It has been raining heavily in the Vellore district for the last few days. Thus the water levels there are rapidly filling up. All the rivers are flooded. Nature life has been affected due to flood water flowing on the roads.


The lake has also been flooded. In this situation, a house built on the shore in the Balaru nagar area of Pasumathur village next to Gudiyatham collapsed. Video footage of the house collapsing due to heavy rain has gone viral on social media.
