As online delivery services in india continue to increase the number of customers, many new problems are increasing every day. Safety for women, in particular, is a big question mark. A swiggy delivery employee has sent inappropriate messages to the woman who ordered the groceries.
A woman named Prapthi bought the goods through swiggy InstaMart on tuesday night. Typically swiggy, and zomato apps have phone Number Masking technology so that the delivery employee's mobile number cannot be seen.
But Prapthi has forgotten and done it by the call which is naturally done. Through this, the swiggy employee who got the mobile number of Prapthi sent her many inappropriate messages like "Miss you lot" and "nice your beauty, wonderful behavior" to the whatsapp number. In it, angry Prapthi posted on twitter that many women are facing the worst event that they have ever experienced. Prapthi also tweeted that swiggy did not take enough action to complain to customer service.
Her record has now gone viral across the country, prompting the swiggy management's escalation team and the CEO's office to contact Prapthi, asking for details and taking action. Prapthi currently has her twitter account blocked, but the twitter site has posts of people responding to Prapthi's tweet.
Many of them have reported a similar incident and many have repeatedly lashed out at the online delivery service. Above all, many have suggested that a complaint be lodged at the police station.
