The 44th FIDE Chess Olympiad is going to start on 28th July in Mamallapuram, tamil Nadu. Earlier, preparations are going on in full swing regarding this. In this connection, the Napier Bridge in chennai has been given a chess board look. The pictures of the bridge are going viral on social media. It has become a center of attraction for the people of the whole city and people are coming here and taking pictures.


As you can see in the pictures, the painting work has been done in such a way that it looks like the track of an F1 race. The track decorations are similar to Formula One races. Well, this special preparation is for the chase at the moment.

The first torch relay of the Chess Olympiad, starting on 28 July, reached Raipur, the capital of chhattisgarh, on saturday 16 July. arjuna Award Grandmaster praveen Thipsay handed over the torch to chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium.


The chief minister said it is a matter of great pride that for the first time the torch relay of the Chess Olympiad was also organized along the lines of the Olympics. This torch will serve as an inspiration for the upcoming chess players.
