The man, Kamlesh Padidar, was declared brought dead after being admitted to the hospital. Later after his "body" was handed over to the family, the family performed his last rites. Have you ever wondered what it would be like if the dead came back? If it is our most loved person, surely that feeling will give us happiness. One such incident happened in Madhya Pradesh. A man who allegedly died has returned home after two years in Madhya Pradesh's Thar district as his family members performed last rites after he was declared "dead" due to Covid-19 in a hospital.
Family members of 35-year-old Kamlesh Patidar were surprised when they knocked on the door of his maternal aunt's house in Karotkala village at around 6 am on saturday, almost two years after performing his last rites. Kamlesh Patidar fell ill during the second wave of Covid-19, a family member said. He was admitted to the hospital. Doctors later declared him brought dead. His relative mukesh Patidar told reporters on saturday that the family performed his last rites after the hospital handed over the "body" to them.
Now, he has returned home, but he is yet to give any information about where he stayed during this period, the relative said. In-charge of Kanwan police station Ram Singh Rathore said that the family members informed that Kamlesh Patidar was hospitalized in vadodara (Gujarat) in 2021 due to coronavirus infection. After doctors declared him dead due to the COVID-19 infection, the family later returned to their village after performing last rites on the body provided by a hospital in Vadodara. Now, the family members came to know that he was alive when he returned home on saturday, police officer Rathore said. The police official added that the matter will be clear only after the statement of Kamlesh Patidar is recorded.
