Internet users have come across a video purporting to show a guy being beaten up for allegedly taking a seat meant for Lord Hanuman at an Adipurush showing in a theatre in Hyderabad. According to reports, the event took place in Hyderabad, where the man was assaulted and subjected to taunts as he sat in the theater's "Hanuman seat." The occurrences appear to have occurred during one of Adipurush's initial performances.An individual was assaulted by prabhas followers for using a seat designated for Lord Hanuman in Hyderabad's Bramarambha theatre early this morning, according to a tweet that included the footage. Due to profanity, the audio has been muted.A seat covered in saffron with a garland encircling a picture of the god and the phrases "Jai Shri Ram" and another seat decorated with flowers and a picture of Lord Hanuman. This was the situation in many cinemas throughout the nation as people flocked to see "Adipurush," a retelling of the Ramayana. Before settling down to watch the movie, some were spotted saying prayers, others pausing for a moment, and, of course, others taking the obligatory picture of the unique sight. Videos from several movie theatres also showed incense sticks and coconuts.
