Rajasthan Family Finds King Cobra in Washing Machine
In a startling turn of events, a family in rajasthan discovered a king cobra inside their washing machine. A video capturing the incident has gone viral, showing the five-foot-long venomous snake coiled inside the machine's drum, causing shock among the residents. The incident occurred at Shambhudayal's residence in Swami Vivekanand Nagar, Kota.
According to reports, Shambhudayal was preparing to do laundry when he encountered the snake. The reptile was seen in a defensive stance, ready to strike, which prompted Shambhudayal to retreat and seek help from a local snake catcher.
Fortunately, the snake did not harm anyone. The snake catcher managed to safely extract the cobra and released it into the Ladpura forest, away from residential areas. He noted, “The snake, which was over 5 feet long, was carefully removed from the washing machine and released into the wild.” He also mentioned that snakes often enter human habitats searching for food, especially during the monsoon season when their natural environments become waterlogged.
This incident is part of a broader trend where wild animals, such as snakes and crocodiles, are found in urban areas, often due to heavy rains. Recently, a child in bihar mistakenly bit a non-venomous snake, thinking it was a toy. The child was unharmed, and the snake was identified as harmless by local health officials.
Additionally, following intense rainfall, the Forest Department in Kota rescued several crocodiles, ranging from 7 to 10 feet in length, from various locations and released them back into the wild.
