A large crowd gathered in Dharavi, maharashtra when BMC employees demolished the alleged illegal part of a mosque on saturday (September 21). During this, the crowd protested strongly and created a ruckus and also broke the glass of the BMC vehicle. Now Dharavi police has arrested three people in this case. All three are accused of inciting riots. The police have registered a case against them under sections 132, 189 (1,2), 190, 184 (4), 191 (2), 324 (3), 191 (3) of BNS. In this, section 132 is non-bailable. Section 132 is imposed for obstructing the work of a government employee. At present, all three accused have been produced in the court.

A crowd of about 5 thousand people had gathered

After the incident, mumbai police had revealed that a crowd of about five thousand people had gathered at Dharavi police Station. There were many outsiders in this crowd. police was identifying the people who had come from outside Dharavi. It also came to light in the investigation that provocative posts and videos were made to gather the crowd against the demolition action of BMC.

These posts and videos started going viral from friday night. On the day of BMC's action, i.e. on saturday morning, a huge crowd had gathered in the mosque area in Dharavi, due to which the movement of vehicles was affected. The protesters had sat on the road. After this, the police team came and tried to convince them.

They were appealed to move aside so that vehicles could pass. local people also came forward to convince them. Let us tell you that BMC has given eight days to the mosque committee in this matter to remove the illegal construction. Till then BMC will not take any action against the mosque. According to the information received, the Muslim community will approach the court to ensure that no action is taken against this mosque.
