Chief Minister M. K. Stalin Invites Prime Minister Modi and Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to Visit Porunai Museum

Tamil Nadu chief minister M. K. stalin has expressed his desire for prime minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman to personally visit the newly inaugurated Porunai Museum in Tirunelveli.

Speaking about the museum, the chief minister said that it stands as a landmark project showcasing the rich heritage, history, and culture of the tamil people. The Porunai Museum, built with modern facilities and state-of-the-art displays, highlights archaeological discoveries, ancient settlements, inscriptions, art forms, and the socio-cultural evolution of the Tamils over the centuries.

Chief minister stalin emphadata-sized that a visit by national leaders would not only recognize the historical and cultural significance of the museum but also provide an opportunity to present tamil heritage to a wider audience. He noted that the museum is designed to be a center of learning and research, aimed at educating citizens and inspiring younger generations about the state’s ancient legacy.

The chief minister further remarked that the Porunai Museum is a testament to the Dravidian Model of governance, which prioritizes heritage preservation alongside modern development. A visit by prime minister Modi and minister Nirmala Sitharaman, he suggested, would encourage more people across the country to appreciate tamil Nadu’s unique cultural contributions.

The Porunai Museum, constructed at a significant investment, is expected to become a major tourist and educational landmark, attracting scholars, students, and heritage enthusiasts from across india and abroad.
